The stadium is designed by Norman Foster, and it has a capacity of 80,000 people-the largest of all 8 stadiums. It's located in the prominent locations in Lusail, which is a new city that's being built in Qatar. The overall planning of the stadium features a tram system, and lush green spaces, turning it into a sustainability-focused arena that focuses on human needs and environmental conservation. Once the event is over, it will be transformed into a multi-purpose community hub with schools, shops, cafés, sporting facilities, and health clinics. The stadium was inaugurated end of 2021.

    AI Janoub Stadium is designed to look like a traditional Qatari dhow boat. It's located in Al Wakrah, one of the oldest inhabited areas of the south of Doha. The 40,000-seat stadium opened on 16 May 2019, coinciding with the Amir Cup final.The exterior is made of white panels that will reflect the sun's light. Al Janoub Stadium was the first Qatar 2022 tournament venue to be built from scratch and will host matches up to and including the round of 16 during Qatar 2022.

    Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium is located in Al Rayyan, which is a city that's west of Doha.Designed by the architecture firm Populous, the stadium is Labeled as the "gateway to the desert". One main design feature is the undulating façade, made of patterns that characterize different aspects of the country, such as "the importance of family, the beauty of the desert, the native flora and fauna, as well as local and international trade". The stadium will have a capacity of 44,000 people.It's set to open in 2019.

    The Khalifa International Stadium was built in 1976 in Al Rayyan. It is one of the most iconic stadiums in the country, having hosted several top international events and matches like the Asian Games, the Gulf Cup and the AFC Asian Cup.The stadium was completed in 2017, and it's the first stadium in Qatar to be completed.The stadium is expanded to accommodate 40,000 fans and equipped with an "innovative cooling technology". The exterior of the stadium is made of an inner layer with tubes on it that will filter the sun's rays.

It's set on the shores of the Gulf and overlooking Doha just a few kilometres away.Inspired by Doha's character and history as a major port city on the Arabian Gulf, the stadium is Built using modified shipping containers and modular steel elements.Stadium 974 is the first fully demountable stadium in FIFA World Cup history.It has a capacity of 40,000 people.
